Sure, you've seen these types of books, the ones with a group of kids with superpowers, the ones with the elemental powers, even the ones about going into a game, but this new group of kids aren't like their cliched counterparts - they're our counterparts.
Our counterparts live on the same Earth we do, listen to the same songs we do, live where we do, and almost mimic the same life we do, but some of them don't.
Some get into unfortunate events that follow them for the rest of their lives. Some of them might have slightly different DNA then us. Some might even have superpowers.
In this story, it will follow the lives of some of our counterparts who get struck by lightning and gain superpowers while making a gaming group in a game. Throughout this, they will have to team up with other group mates (who share the same secret) and outside sources to figure out how to overthrow an evil organization who has taunted the group for mouths.
But what if they have been taunted them for years without them knowing it?

The Unordinary
Six high school students looks like anyone else acts like anyone else but are capable of things no one else is. They learnt from a young age no one that means NO ONE can know about their powers even their parents and other siblings. It brings out the true friends and those who just want to use you. In the end, what do you do when your closest friend betrays you? This is the story as they try to keep their biggest darkest secret of what they are capable of and as they discover they're not the only ones like them... I am not very good at trigger warnings before individual chapters but there is mention of blood, cold abuse and parents divorcing. (But read at your own risk in case I mention something else. If you doubt your writing skills, read this book. It'll make you feel better, trust me. I wrote this when I was in sixth grade, and now I can't even get through the first chapter without cringing. Okay, here we go: ------------- Before I tell you my story, I have something to tell you. My twin sister, Fern, and I, we are special. Not the kind of special like we are the best at an instrument or we know more facts about something than anyone else. We are so special that our connection is something that only happens every million years. we also inherited something random from our adopted mom that makes us SUPER special. We would be put on public display where millions would flock around to get a mere glimpse of us and what makes us special. Scientists and genetic experts on many grounds would put us in cages.
