3 best friends have been living carefully their whole lives , making sure as to not reveal the fact that their parents implanted illegal, stolen government technology into them before they were born. These Links allow the three to communicate amonst each other, browse the web behind their eyelids and, most dangerously of all, access confidential government information that could change their lives forever. Now armed with the option of blackmail, the teens feel safer until the Rebublic of Natual Existence (the rebellion group attempting to overthrow the US govenment) sends government agents after them. The three are forced to leave their hometown in California to make sure that they are not found and killed. While on the run, these teens face things that they never though possible; death, arrest, and most surprisingly, romance.

There was a major war that happened and now the government is trying a new experiment on the city. The main character, Alex, and her best friends who are twins are seeing that something isn't right. They're seniors in high school but because of the war, they've been separated on government orders. No one is allowed outside because the government is making people to believe its toxic. They believe that if the parents believe it, the kids will too. But it doesn't stop Alex. She and her best friends decide that they are going to try and stop this. But how? They have no clue. But the first step, going outside. Is it truely toxic out there ? They're about to find out.
