On the 29th of April, Tony Perry lost her sister, Mike Fuentes and Jaime Preciado their bestfriend, and Vic Fuentes her girlfriend to suicide. Creating the band, Pierce the Veil, was just a way to help themselves get over her death. That was, until they got signed to Fearless Records and started touring; gaining fans and popularity. Slowly, all of them started to recover from this tragedy - everyone but Vic. 

Vic's heart died along with Olivia Perry the day she killed herself. He's done all he could - from self-harm to alcohol - just to cope with the idea of losing her forever. Just when he thought creating music and meeting fans had helped him to completely forget, a music player with a set of voice recordings arrives at his doorstep. Recordings that were made by Olivia weeks before she died. Recordings that explained why she killed herself and the people behind it.
