My name is Aris Jones. I think I'm 17 years old. I can't remember anything. Some things come and go in blurs. I was put in a trial. The Maze. They called me "the trigger". I was the only boy, amongst 40 or 50 girls. Not all of us escaped. Beth. She killed Rachel... She killed my best friend. But then, these people, they saved the rest of us. The trials of Emi
(This is the 2nd part to my other story "The Maze trials: A Gally Fanfiction". This will cover the events of the scorch trails and the death cure.) --- Emi, her twin brother Thomas, and a small group of gladers had been rescued and taken to a safe haven. Or so it seemed. It doesn't take long for Thomas to realize something is wrong. What happens next is a true trial for all of them but Emi's trials began the moment she was ripped away from a dying Gally. Watching someone you love die right before your eyes truly takes a toll. Finally meeting the right arm could have been the end but betrayal leads to even more chaos and loss. A new mission to rescue those taken from them leads them to a city. The last city. After Emi finally comes to terms with everything that's happened something unfolds that changes everything again. Dangerously Close (Aris x Reader)
She was practically cursed to be someone to look out for since birth. Having lived her entire life in the Scorch, she was on edge, paranoid, and was always prepared to kill. Even if it made her enemies, she did what she had to to survive. Aris knew nothing about that sort of lifestyle. His Maze and two weeks out there didn't make him cold. It didn't make him so dangerous that getting close to someone would risk their lives. She did though. She was like that, so when this random boy she had a terrible first impression with told her to stay in the Safe Haven, she wasn't eager to take it. Not at all. Even if it was her only chance of normalcy. Even if it was her only chance of falling in love.
