Jace Bradford was your average guy. He was invisible and did his work quietly trying to stay under the radar. He didn't quite fit in at school; he'd rather spend all day long in the ocean. Everyday he'd come to the beach to just clear his mind, surf, and scuba dive. One day, he rides a really strong wave and almost drowns, but then a person swims him out to shore and saves his life. It was a girl. Every time Jace and she talk, she hides behind a huge rock and she won't show her face.
River Pacific: the new girl in town. She barely talks and she's never seen anywhere but at school. When Jace bumps into her one day, he instantly connects with her and feels like he's met her. He then enlists her help to find the girl behind the rock. Will he find out who the girl is? Or is this mystery girl closer than he expected?

Jace Becker is a junior in highschool who is tormented daily by his bullies- Sam in particular- simply for being gay. He appears to be a normal teenager, but he has a dark secret that only one other person in the world knows. Living alone, he turns to his passion for art as a way to let his emotions out, but sometimes that proves to not be enough. Sam Larson is a sixteen-year-old closeted gay guy who, after receiving the news of his mother's death, winds up making Jace's life hell as a way of venting his grief. He lives with his twin brother, who is essentially his polar opposite. Sam secretly hates all of his "friends" except for one. Kizuato Larson is Sam's twin brother. Being kind of a recluse, he's a quiet person who is very distant and removed from his sibling. Ever since the twins' dad left when they were seven, Kizuato has been more reserved and less willing to trust people. He hates people who bully others for things that can't be changed- such as sexual orientation or race- especially after having experienced it himself for being asexual/aromantic.
