Katelyn wasn't the type of girl that gave second chances, she loved the world and loved the people in it, but she never learned to give them until the world gave her a second chance.
Fate will continue to test her as life progresses, after the fatal accident that took her father's life Katelyn falls into a downward spiral until she finally grabbed hold of something. Or rather someone, on the way down, just before hitting rock bottom.

Many people fall in love in different ways and with diffrent types of people. We fall in love in bizarre situations and stay in love when it seems love is impossible.
I had a plan all set up at one point in my life, but it all changed. God or whoever hovers above us decided I had a different path. They meant for me to follow it by leaving me on a medical bed and making love come to me instead.
Although pain was inevitable, I fell in and out of love, living more than I did when I actually thought I was living. He was my second chance at life, literally and figuratively.
********Not a fan made novel of any book. Not a to any published sequel or prequel of any well known book. I've had this written out a long time ago and decided to put it out there.

"Mels I think we should break up" David said to her, his voice flat, no emotion, as though he wasn't blowing up her entire world with his blunt words. "What?" Melody asked, her face had gone pale, she had heard the words he said the first time but she couldn't believe it. She loved him and he loved her, why would they break up? Why would he want this? Highschool Sweethearts
Katelyn has been in and out of the foster system since her mother died when she was young. After her father gets put in jail again, she gets sent to live with the Thomas family. The Thomas's are a very well-off family with four boys. Their house is usually the main hangout for the boys and their friends. Kate hasn't ever lived with siblings before, let alone this many boys, so it's a big change for her. Daniel is your typical high school football player; he's got the looks, the muscles, talent, and even the overbearing dad who wants him to go pro. Daniel, however, really couldn't care less about a career in football, he loves the game, but it's his dad's dream for him to go pro, not his own. At least not anymore. He spends most of his free time away from his house and hanging out at either the Thomas or the Copperfield house. He can't wait to go off to college with his friends and get away from his dad and the stupid little town he grew up in. How will things change for them over the next year? This will be a series of 4, but the other books will be spin-offs and can be read as stand-alone books. They will, however, be published in chronological order. Full warning, this book is much shorter than I intend on making the spin-offs. I was planning on writing book two as the first in the series but found myself needing more of a prequel to all three other books, and so I chose to write something from their high school years. Bonus points for giving Daniel a love interest that was more than just a name.Complete
