Jared Aethorn is an orphaned young man of seventeen, just trying to get by. Without any surviving family, he simply wants to leave his life behind. Through a curious turn of events, Jared gets his chance, and is thrown into the world of Dräkimr: a land rich with magic, lacking in technology, and above all else, in need of a hero.
