Moira Anderson, like every other 16-years old New Yorker hapless enough to have ended up born in the wrong place at the wrong time, got caught up in a covenant that dictates each and every teenager under said category to take the Fate test and find out their predestinations in their lives. The Founders of this decision claim that this puts adolescents at a great advantage: finding out about their fate and preparing for it in advance. After taking her Fate result from within the grasps of the Techno Seer, the machine that reads teenagers' minds to create a verse-long outline of their period of existence, Moira suspects that the Founders strive for more than just a better world. So, with the help of her friends, she goes to great lengths to unravel the mystery that she and others like her have fallen victims for.

The night of the accident changes everything for Nina, a 16-year-old girl from Minneapolis. All she remembers is hitting the freshly paved street, the name tag Ansley, and her mom running after the wailing ambulance. Waking up from a coma in a hospital bed and being told that she has Schizophrenia, pushes Nina into a state of denial and unacceptance. The only thing keeping her sane while being confined to the hospital is her blooming friendship with Kathy, who also has Schizophrenia. Together, they brave through therapy sessions, and the watchful eyes of the head doctor. When our protagonist and her sidekick are temporarily placed back into High School, Nina comes face to face with Conor. And as most teenage girls would, when confronted by a gorgeous boy, she develops feelings for him. When our duo is thrown back into the hospital, things start to get suspicious. From flower fields and holidays, to late night kisses and time ticking down, Nina is uneasy with the hospital workers, and maybe even the people she thinks she knows everything about. The hallucinations begin to take over Nina and Kathy's life and very nearly drive the two of them to a state of insanity. The workers at the hospital are not who they seem to be, in reality. Knowing who to trust is out of the question. Who is our antagonist? Who lives? Who dies? Is this all a fever dream, or something truly... demented? Will they be able to overcome the building pressure of the unwarned attacks and betrayals, or will the tick-tocking of the clock and clinically deranged staff run them down to their last unwitting days? 11 Days With Keira Rudd

13 parts Complete

Perfectly curled mahogany hair. Eyes so blue that it looks like the sun was shining right through them. Her smile so bright that it leaves me completely speechless. Her laugh reminding me of the soft melody of wind chimes hanging in trees. When her cheerful voice leaves her perfectly rose-colored lips my heart jumps up in joy, leaving me completely breathless. Being with her makes me feel like I'm about to fly away. Being with the most complex and confusing girl I have ever met makes me feel like I have finally found my second half. And that only after spending 11 days with the girl who pulled me into her unique world, changing me into someone I can't recognize myself. The one who extended my limits and showed me that even I, Riley Young (a socially awkward and shy nerd attending senior year in High-School), am capable of doing unexpected and crazy things. And after all the time we have spent together, I have asked myself how my life would have turned out if I would have never met the ineffable Keira Rudd. [A short story about the sixteen-year-old Riley Young who meets Keira Rudd. A complex girl who teaches him that life is more than just simply following orders and studying for good grades.]
