[Book 1] Hi, my name is Ash. Ash. A bit of an unusuall name, I know, but I like it. I am 13 years old and I live in the orphanage that my mother abandoned me at as a baby. I guess I am a normal kid... mostly. The only thing that really sets me apart from other people is the fact that I can create fire with my mind... Ash is just a normal girl... until her 13th birthday. That's when life starts to get weird. It all begins when she gets into an argument with class bully Megan Hunter and she creates fire with her mind. A top secret elimination force start to track her down and she is forced into hiding. When she finds out about a secret haven for kids of her kind, she decides it is a perfect place for her. But will she survive the trecherous journey and finish the test that will lead her to her goal? *I am just warning you all, this story is still a work in progress and I may change some of the already-published chapters a little bit.
