"You're my favourite galaxy"

18 year-old Maisie Richards knew she loved to write, but it wasn't until she discovered a poetry slam in the heart of her little city that she truly understood why she did. It was the metaphors, the imagery, the way words can create new worlds within ~ and without. Despite (or maybe because of) the pressure from those around her to focus on her grades and her future, maisie's heart wanders away down a path of poetic endeavours.

She guiltily looks beyond her boyfriend of 4 years for the first time and falls for Travler Fitzgerald, a quirky, 21 year old poet who lives life the way she's been dreaming to live hers; spontaneously. Silly adventures, fluffy conversations, bad decisions and romantic poetry give maisie the lessons she needs to choose the path that she truly wants for herself.
