Katelynn's Crack Of Thunder

The events that occurred the day of the trail ride flash back to me all of the time. My whole family was killed because of it, my life was destroyed. I made it out alive, but I was living in the wilderness alone. My family turned into a bunch of wild horses, that I had trained and formed bonds with. I found houses, but none of them worked out. Spirits had risen up, haunting me and other things had caused problems in my life. So you could say I was an orphan that lived in the wilderness with a bunch of wild horses. The horses grew to like me, and I felt the same way about them. We grew bonds and we were soon inseparable.

Katelynn is a thirteen year old girl whose life is destroyed when a trail ride goes wrong. She finds herself living with a bunch of horses, using only her survival skills that her mom had taught her. Will she survive? Or will Kateylnn be found dead by the police, lying on the grassy ground next to a herd of horses?
