Society is not safe for an elemental and when you're the only one in your family it won't treat you fair. She meets Cyrus as a fate encounter, and everything will come to her as it must. Society is messed up, but we are the ones that can fix it. Those were the last words Cyrus remembers hearing from his friend who was killed a year before meeting Sasha.
