When I was a kid it was just mum and me. I didn’t know any other family, I didn’t know who my dad was. I always wanted to ask, all the other kids would talk about it. I nearly did ask her once, but I stopped myself don’t know why, when I got to an older age. I was glad I didn’t, she didn’t need me asking. She was all I needed. So when she fell sick, everything came crashing down.
