Chasing Yesterday

When I picture love, I see the one I love and me dancing in the rain. It is beautiful, peaceful. But while dancing with the one I thought I loved, it felt uniform, forced. Then he left me alone to slip in the rain and fall to my knees.

Yet the one I would come to love picked me up and stayed with me until the storm passed through. And when we danced, it was free.

Amelia Rockwell and Nick Bradshaw have been dating for over two years. While she believes that their relationship is wonderful and that they are madly in love, Nick seems to think otherwise. After brutally breaking up with her for purely selfish reasons, Amelia is left heartbroken and alone, getting soaked by the cold rain.
