Mackerel jean hortson is a 13 year old orphan at Mrs. Cora's abandoned kids home. Her father died of a heart attack when her mom was 7 months pregnant and her mother died giving birth. She had no siblings, but she didn't need them because of the younger girls at the orphanage.
Mack had a few homes before, but never was kept.
What happens when mackerel is given one last chance? What happens when Mack gets adopted by her favorite pop/rock band?
