	77 years ago, the world's population spiked. Earth's resources were tapped dry. Every nation was given a choice: descend into chaos and death or be replaced by a single world government.

	Inside its massive domes, humanity's every need is met. Now, without the need to work, liesurely distraction is the driving force of society. The adrenaline rush of virtual reality games is its pinnacle and winners are set apart as their elite Level Ones.

	Fa1th, a hot-headed rookie, tries to climb to the top of this society on her own terms. A journey which is co-opted by a paranoid taxi driver seeking to uncover the dark secret beneath this utopia, known only among the Level Ones as 'Downgate'. 

	Will the grisly truth of the forgotten past destroy their future? Or will it set them free? In a world of games and illusions, none is more dangerous than freedom.All Rights Reserved

When the Earth's population grows close to a trillion, there isn't space for all those people anymore. The only way humanity can continue is putting most of the people into a virtual world. Unfortunately, due to predatory pricing and hidden micropayments, keeping up with their subscription can be a problem for a lot of people. Bock is a mink, which is a problem because they're a closed species; and if he can't keep up with the monthly payments he might have to go offline. But maybe he can find a glitch in the system; a way to keep his body without paying out so much for it. What could possibly go wrong? TG/AR themes. We were told to just believe. We were taught to never question. We're supposed to be robots and accept our roles in this altered society. Too bad Hunter and I don't follow the rules. And we're a hell of a lot stronger than they ever thought possible. They've been searching for the world's deadliest weapon. It's me. And I'm not following the leader any more.
