Although I'm not certain what motivated me to write this specifically, it may have something to do with something someone said to me recently about the bond I share with my brother, that we had each other's backs no matter what. And I guess some part of me wanted to show what a brotherly bond is like, and some part of me thought "hey, what's a better bond than the one the Winchesters share for each other." And thus this story, of a five year Sam who wakes up from a nightmare, and hopes to have his big bro cheer him up. Again, I don't know why I chose this specific age and situation, but I think it shows a more emotional depth to the boys and their bond, and it also shows just how much they care about each other. Sam may be a little too young to understand it in this story, but Dean has always got his back, no matter what.All Rights Reserved

Now it's been years since Caitlin left. Dean only has a year left. Sam is willing to do anything he can do save his brother. That's when he learns of a Demon that has gone rogue. The Demon fights hell, and helps humans. Doing anything to piss off the other Demons, especially Lilith. Sam immediately attempts to find the Demon. And when he does he's shocked a long with Dean. How will the brothers respond with their new ally? Will this Demon betray them? Or will their hate for Lilith be strong enough to let them fight with these hunters? And where does the oldest Winchester for into all of this?

He's all alone and he thinks Dean is dead, he doesn't know Marie is alive (obviously) and he doesn't know where Cass is. All of the sudden though, a woman he doesn't know comes to his rescue, seeming to know all about him). She takes him back home and meets Dean (who is very shocked to see this random lady with his tortured brother) She meets Cass and they know each other. A bunch of stuff happens, and she's got some dark secrets. Her and Sam's relationship blossoms into a fluffy ball of adorable that made me happy to write. (The overall theme fits the song Windows by Angel Oleson really well and I'd recommend you listen to it. Also, yes I know at some parts it's really cringey but I was a baby writer for the first parts of the book. It gets better and I'm really proud of it. I'm gonna try to go back and edit it but I'm really busy recently.)

But he believes Cas couldn't like him anyway, at least not now. his life is getting more misreabale by the time that passes. he just wants everything to end. this is a rewriting of the original but its so much better and has more stuff so its so worth reading:)
