  The Professor glanced back, and lifted up his right hand. He also had a tatoo, but his was black and the animal was different too. He had a wolf. Suddenly, the tatoo glowed; his right arm was soon covered in fur and his nails had become claws. Luminous looked in disbelief as the Professor seemed to get younger, and his two arms were both.. well.. wolfish.
  	"Don't look so surprised lad. I'm also a Shifter."
  The Professor turned to face him and did a small bow.
  	"Newton the WereWolf, pleased to meet you."

A fat rat scurried across my path, damn thing scared the sh*t out of me. My heart pounding I looked down watching for the rat as I left the alley and not paying attention to my surroundings. I walked straight into someone. Mumbling my apologies while I step to the left of him. He stepped with me. Excusing myself I tried to move to the right of him, he followed me again. As I looked up I realized he wasn't alone. There were three more guys in a small circle surrounding me. What the hell just kids, ages 14 to 18.

"It's just a small cut," I reply, annoyed. None of the other cadets get this kind of attention. Besides, we have to learn this to pass the exam. "Shhh, it's going to be okay," he says, pressing me close. My whole side explodes with sparks. It tickles me. "You have to stop hurt yourself. Why are you even here? How am I going to protect you here?" he asks angrily. "I don't need your protection!" I shout, pushing him away. I get an angry growl back. Quickly I grab another knife and throws it over my shoulder, hitting bulls' eye. He glares at me, and the room has gone completely silent. That's when I discover that I may have gone too far with the insanely possessive highness, even though I'm grateful for the extra lessons he gives me. Then suddenly everyone hurries out of the training area. Leaving me alone with the growling, red eyed alpha. I shuddered. It had never been so dark, nor so quiet before. There was always the light of the moon to guide me. The sound of the wind against the trees. I shook the thought from my mind and continued further into the wood. Then I saw it. A white light spread across the ground in front of me. The clouds had parted from where they were, revealing the moon at its fullest. I stared in awe. It had never been so bright. The ambiance began to come back. The wind began to dance with the trees. I opened my eyes. Everything seemed clearer. I could see the particles of dust flying in the beam of light that shone around me. I wanted to stay here for longer. I wanted this moment to last forever. Until I saw the wolf. It was hidden among the fold of trees behind me. It stared at me in aggravation. It's brows furrowed in my direction. It's face, livid with anger, revealed a set of unpleasant and sharp teeth. It began to move slightly forward. The wolf bounded towards me. It happened so quickly I had no time to react. It's limbs outstretched. It's teeth bared. My body, paralyzed from fear, refused to move. My lip quivered, urged to call for help, but no help would come. I was too deep into the woods. No one would hear my screams. The thought was soon interrupted by the wolf's teeth digging into my side.

My scrawny legs were toned like a dancer. I reached down and lifted my shirt, revealing two subtle lines running vertically down my perfectly flat stomach, hinting at the rock-hard abs underneath. My whole body was rippling with strength. Like liquid steel.

Every day without fail, I take a hour walk in the forest behind my home after school. This time something happened that I didn't even expect in these woods.
