I sniff the near by tree and find the lingering scent of fresh blood stain the air. "Jeremy." I call for my stubborn little brother.
" Wha-aat?" He whines. " Go home, right now..." " What? why?" "Because...I think one off those bloodsuckers are here..." I say in a cautious tone. "Really?" He frantically sniffs the air, his eyes alight with excitement.

I heard the the snow crunching under foot as I ran as fast as my legs would take me through the forest. The air whipped through my hair as I ran, creating a ribbon like flow behind me.
