My Bad Luck
Everyone suffered through hard times in the COVID years. Olivia, on the other hand suffered through everything. She felt like the universe targeted her, and that she would never get a good ending. Her hope that things would get better was fading by the day. Did she do something wrong? She must have done something to deserve such punishments. Well, at least that is what she believes. After the loss of her beloved younger sister, she needed to step up. But what she wasn't prepared for was having to protect her little brother from her own parent. Feeling lost, and never feeling the comfort of a home, will Olivia be able to break her bad luck? "Because maybe all along I am the reason everyone else had to start suffering in 2019."

Shadows from a past she didn't know existed were closing in, bringing both new connections and painful truths. Adeline was about to discover a hidden world, one that could either fulfill her deepest desires or bring her great sorrow. I cannot express enough how tired I am of reading the same story about the missing daughter of mafia again and again. Its frustrating. I want something new to read, and if I can't find it, what's better than writing it yourself? I don't want anything that you see in every story ever.Complete

"First you captivated me... then you held me captive." Evelyn was like most college-aged girls working a part-time job when she met Caleb, who came in to her life when she wanted him least but needed him most. He captivated her. By the end of summer, she had fallen in love with him. It was then that he wanted her to meet his parents. And that's when everything changed. Caleb was not the man Evelyn thought he was. He came from a secluded village that did things much differently from the rest of society. Isolated in one of the most sparsely populated areas of the country, it was as if they live in their own little world. They were a traditional village for the most part, but there were some aspects that they did much differently than any other, especially in the ways of courtship. It didn't take long for Evelyn to realize one thing: once you were brought home to meet the parents, there was no escape.Complete
