My family and I never stayed in one place for more than a year, I've seen more of the world in my short time than most people will see in their entire lives. Because of that I've never had a chance to make friends or be a true kid. Music and Books were my escape, my safe haven. When my dad told me we were moving again I expected the same old routine. I felt the back of my head connect with the wall and felt a hot liquid pour down my neck and back. I touched my hand to the back of my head and lifted my hand up to examine a shiny liquid that must have been my blood. I felt dizzy and my stomach turned as I saw so much blood covering my hand. The man then laid me on the ground and stripped me. I was so weak by this point that I couldn't even fight back. He then spread my legs and took what he wanted. All I could do was lie there moaning in pain. All of a sudden I heard someone yell and the man got off of me and ran. I saw a pair of blue eyes and said, "My savior," and then I fell into darkness.

"Who are you?" I asked him but instead of answering my question he suddenly grabs my hand and pulls me for a run. I don't know where he will bring me but to my surprised, I let him. We run away from something I don't know. I just know that there is something that was pulling me through a deep unknown darkness. But he was there and now we are running away. I don't know who he is yet I trusted him with all my life. For that instant, I knew my heart belongs to him. *** *** "I didn't mean to love you yet I love you so much I cannot hold you so tight." I said those words and I couldn't stop myself not to feel the bitterness of the truth we are going to face. But still I hold her hand even though I know that it isn't right. We run and I save her. Yet, I don't know it was the beginning and I don't want to find out the ending. Still, the end is near and I cannot hold her even though my heart already belongs to her.

I went through what no one else did. I dealt with much more than any other could. But most importantly, I survived to tell my story, and to prevent others from going through the same thing. I use two terms to describe everything in my life. Before, and After. Before was when I was able to be clueless, and live with my head in the clouds. After, refers to after everything that shaped me happened. I can't help but wonder how things would have turned out if only I hadn't run away that one day...
