Hazel Mayberry, a girl from District 4 gets reaped for the Hunger Games. A unique tribute, who knows how to use every weapon perfectly even though she never trained at the Academy. It all changes when she meets Marvel and Cato, the career tributes. But, here's the catch, both of the tributes are madly in love with Hazel. She has to choose one of them. Will Hazel win? Will she make it out alive? Will she let the games change her? Will everyone win? Will she choose one and let the other die? What do you expect, this is The Hunger Games. For the 72nd Hunger Games, the Mayor of District Two decides to change the selection of tributes to volunteer for the Games. The only people who seem to see it are the Trainers of the Academy, her family, and of course the Victor of the 71st Hunger Games, Cato Hadley. And this seems to cause problems for her that she can't begin to comprehend, as she carries on with her life. But when the 72nd Hunger Games starts, Ash doesn't realize she will have to show her true nature in order for her to defeat the other 23 tributes. But is her talent and skills enough to get her through the games? Or will it fall short and put her with the other 23 tributes who didn't survive?
