New Pisces is a short story / interactive fiction about horoscopes and the technological singularity.
Oh and it's a rhythm game - sort of - there's no hand-eye co-ordination like guitar hero, but the timing and choices you decide affect the background music :S
I made this in one month using the Ren'Py engine for the NaNoRenO VN game jam.

In the town of Pisces, it's a tradition where every year, one brave young man or woman will be sent into a Journey that seems endless. Nobody knows what lies within the Journey as it's not part of the town or the city. Pisces is the only existing town in the world, or so everybody thinks. But Dylan Maxon Allen is determined to know what the end of the Journey looks like. After all, he's been following his grandfather and father's footsteps who had been sent into the Journey. They had promised they would come back, but every people in the town of Pisces knows that whoever has been sent into the journey, never comes back. But Dylan has a goal in mind. He would sign up to be sent into the Journey despite his mother's pleads and cries. He promised to himself that he would come back to the town of Pisces and tell them what he saw at the end. But he knows it'll be tough. Another thing, Pisces are known to be a good water manipulator, but why does Dylan possesses a different power? Sure he can manipulate water and turn them into ice, but he has a greater power; much stronger than manipulating the water. He doesn't know where he got it, or why he got a different power. Through Bios, we journey through the lands of Gamindustri as she learns how to be a proper goddess and also, how to fight. That wasn't all, throughout her daily life, her CPU family and friends seems to be at odds at a new strange enemy. Not only do they encounter new monsters that can suddenly appear out of nowhere. Though he's a Taurus, a Zodiac Sign that represents a strong-willed character with great perseverance and determination, it seems like he's losing hope all of a sudden; not in the upcoming battle where they will fight for freedom, but in the battle of love. Brent is like a living God among other signs, with his explicit beauty and charm, he can get anyone he wants. After all, Taurus wields the power of love and attraction. But that's not the thing: he knows he's going to war with his friends and free them from the cruel world they are in, but it feels like he has another job laid for him. Just for him. It feels someone is calling for him to become a God or something, to rule the world with love and joy. But how could he do that when everyone is in the brink of losing everything? How could he do that when he's in the brink of losing love, the one that he wants to protect all of his life? He knows Taurus plays a big role in every battle, though he's not just sure why. His power does not harm, so why would it play a big role in every battle? Even though the Taurus is not involved in any way. In order to stay alive and off the killer's radar, Silas moves in with a doctor and an officer who helped save him, but as he spends time with them, Silas discovers a side to normal people that he's never gotten to see. His only choice is to make a list. - He knows his name is pronounced as Thomas. - He knows he's tall and handsome. - He knows he's Scottish. - He knows he's a senior with two grade retentions. - He knows he partakes in a crazy amount of lifting competitions. - He knows he has won a crazy amount of lifting competitions as well. - He knows he might enter the Olympics in a few years; everyone has been talking about it at school. - He knows he's hotheaded; everyone talks about it too, but behind closed doors. - He knows he has fucking nice hands. And, what he doesn't know yet but he's about to learn soon, Tavish can be annoying as fuck when he makes pestering you his life mission. --- Somebody's in the closet. Somebody hasn't even had the courage nor the will to step into the closet. That makes for a pretty neat love story.Complete
