"There was the chatter of other people filling the room, and people brushed past her on their way to the counter or to get a drink refill. No one seemed to notice her and she noticed that no one was walking her way. She didn't feel the need to move, to follow some gut feeling, so Rowan just stood there, looking around. She glanced down at her clock.
