I walked through the light forest, footsteps soft and silent, padding across the mossy ground. I came to the forest every year on my birthday. It was a ritual, of sorts. I'd been doing this since I was 8, and now I'm 16, so that's eight years. And in all of those eight years, I'd never once seen this.. House. It was made of a cold stone, cobble, and was partially ruined. Creeping closer to the moulding wooden door, I stepped in, looking around and cautiously calling out. "... H- Hello..?" I was scared, yet oddly.. Intrigued, at the same time. It was a weird feeling. Taking another step into the house, I paused for a second, really looking at my surroundings.
