They believed it was over. That their lives could return to normal at long last.

But that’s the thing about the past… it always finds a way to come back and haunt you.

Not long after the Cube members return to Earth for the second time, problems begin to arise once more. Upon discovering codes mixed in with human DNA, Pixel’s creators are on the hunt for the ‘Artificial Intelligences’ that they sealed long ago, wanting to capture what they believe to be theirs; putting the life of the friend that just returned to the group at risk. And the scientists will use any means to retrieve what they’re searching for.

Struggling to keep their past a mystery and Grape’s secret safe, the Cube members barely register when their own powers start going haywire, endangering the alibi they’ve been working so hard to construct. Slowly, they find themselves being torn apart, all the while trying desperately to put their experiences in Pixel behind them.

But there’s a greater force at work; and it’s content to simply wait, biding its time until it’s all that’s left…
