"We have to keep this on the down low," he purred into my ear, his breath tickling my earlobes. I swallowed and nodded. His eyes pierced through me, and I closed my eyes in protest.
What am I doing?
I didn't know the answer but I liked it, I liked how we were going to be secretive, I liked how it made me feel bad. He made me feel bad. He was my favorite candy and I was starving. Begging for more.
"Of course." I craned my neck, begging for him to run his mouth down it. My skin tensed. Perspiration rolled down my skin yet I had goosebumps.
Why did he make me feel this way?
This was dangerous, I was going to fall in love. I can't. I'm not going to. I'm promising myself.

 We're just friends.

And it's going to stay that way.
