(Previously entitled "Hiding")
"What do you want?" whispered Audrey breathlessly, her heart hammering loud enough that she was sure he could hear it clearly.
The tall broad figure was comeing towards her from deep within the shadows of the night.
"You".
It was easily the most terrifing word she had ever heard...terrifing..and wonderful. Audrey knew she should be afraid. Hell, she should be running away from this Dark and beautiful stranger with eyes blacker than coal, but for some God- forsaken reason she couldnt explain, she wasnt able to will her legs to carry her to safety. He was closer now, within ear shot. Audrey could practically feel his hot breath crawling down her neck.
"Who are you?" she managed to ask , No louder than a faint whisper for her throat seemed to clench as her eyes burned with tears of fear and curiosity. Audrey didnt want to know. Of that she was sure. No. it wasnt that she wanted to. She NEEDED to know.
"My name is Ethan."
Audrey hides. She hides from her fighting parents, hides from her teacher's questions, but mostly, she's hiding from herself. So what will she do when one person, one stranger, takes the time to look for her? Will she let herself be found or will she once again hide from life?

"I needed more closure than what you gave me." I half lied. "It feels like an open wound someone keeps pouring salt on."
His expression remained hard and cold. Almost distant. "I don't know what you want from me, Willow. You coming here isn't closing any wounds, it's just opening up old ones."
I let out a sigh and rubbed my hands over my face. "I just needed to see you, okay? It's a relief to know you're even alive right now." I was begging myself not to cry.
Noah shifted a little and folded his arms against his chest. "I don't know what you want me to say."
"Anything is better than nothing." I said as I took a step closer. "I missed you. A lot."
He peeked from under the mess of curls falling over his eyes. "You want me to tell you I missed you too? Is that what you're doing here?"
I clenched my jaw shut and curled my fingers into fists at my sides. "I don't want anything from you."
Scott isn't gone...yet. But he still refuses to let Noah go without harming anyone Noah cares about. It's been nine months since Scott took Noah under his wing and moved away from California. Willow hasn't seen either of them since the night Noah left with the promise to come back. When Willow finds Noah, she didn't expect what she finds. Noah's completely transformed into something she never thought she would see again. Besides the arrogant, obnoxious attitude, came countless tattoos, a ring through his lip, and a new name. With Scott still lingering and Noah's new found attitude, there's bound to be a little trouble. Way more than Willow bargained for. And maybe, just maybe, Scott isn't the real enemy.
