Humans and Dela are at war.
Robyn Marlow is the daughter of a witch who hates everyone who is not a Dela (Dela means they are descendants of magic infused beings) in other words, anyone human because they killed her father for being a Dela from the Grove, a hidden location filled with Earth Dela. At the age 16, Robyn's mom died after an attack. With her parents gone, nothing stopped Robyn from losing anything that kept at bay. Instead, hate manifested inside her. Her hate toward humans was so powerful, she became a wanted criminal for the humans. And due to the fact she is a Dela, nothing can stop her.
But when a big heist goes awry, Robyn finds herself captured by the species she loathed the most.
When she does escape, she takes Prince Rocco with her for insurance and payback for locking her up. Robyn is almost home free but first she must try back without falling madly in love with him.
