Nikki Crawford is an introvert person. She doesn't like surrounding herself with lot of attention and absolutely loves spending alone time at beach.
 She's about to graduate and a party is thrown at the beach mansion where she meets Derek Stark.

Her painful past memories taught her a great lesson and that's why she's afraid of trusting people and getting herself hurt again. But, She doesn't know how to resist this attraction that she feels towards him. 
Derek will consume her mind and thoughts completely and would heal her in a way she never thought possible.
