My spitfire obsession has caused me to create a series of funny/romance themed oneshots featuring Artemis Crock and Wally West, lots of fluff. The cover picture is the first chapter. I may have other couples in some chapters.
Disclaimer: I do not own young justice, if i did season 2 would not have happened or there would be a season 3 to bring back wally west as his death emotionally crippled me.

Spitfire - Wally and Artemis
This is a slow-burn Wally/Artemis Young Justice fanfiction, starting with mutual dislike and full of rich, detailed storytelling. The Son of Speed (Completed)
Artemis Crock is the new prison guard at Belle Reve Penitentiary, the criminal housing unit for metahumans. She knew her job would be hard, but she never expected to fall for one of her captives, a young, hotheaded and wildcard criminal, the son of the Reverse Flash, Black Velocity. When she is personally put in charge of finding the villain, after he escapes single handedly, all of her morals are put to the test, and she must make the difficult decision whether to do as told, or lose everything to stand alongside Black Velocity. Will Artemis risk everything, just to learn more about the criminal behind the mask, and who he truly is, and to maybe, just maybe, fall in love with him? (Loads of angst writing ahead in later chapters...proceed with a possible tissue) Disclaimer: I obviously do not own Young Justice, but Brandon Vietti and Greg Weisman do! The time comes, and Artemis left with a choice: help her true love remember her and the Team, or watch him become isolated in a psychological ward. What will her choice be? Will she finally let go of her past, and let herself become the person she was meant to be? Will she do what she can to unite the Team, despite its crumbling walls and members?
