HOWEVER, Soul has pulled away from Maka and was being controlled by a Kishin. The continuous one-sided battle forced the rest of the meisters to retreat. While Lord Death, Spirit, and Stein tried to find a way to locate Soul, the team had to control Maka's reckless behavior of the weaponless meister. For some reason, Kid was the only one who could get through to her. They all decided to let Maka stay at Kid's place for a while.
