Mike is the descendant of an Italian father and a Puerto Rican mother. He was adopted at the age of 4 by a rich all white American family in Los Angeles, California. His adopted father owns a company which meant he had to travel a lot when he has to open a new building in a state. As if by luck, the headquarters of his father's company had moved to Chicago, Illinois. Mike’s dream is to find his birth parents and make it as a music artist and songwriter.
Tyler is a young African American teenager raised in one of the dangerous parts of Chicago. He was raised by his hardcore father, who is a co-leader of a gang. Tyler's dream is to leave Chicago and make it into the music industry and follow his idols such as Logic and J Cole and change the face of Hip Hop and tell the true stories behind the music.
