Rina Canley is one of 13 people left on Earth. A shocking and gruesome disease has swept through the land killing the rest of humanity. Without anymore family or connections, Rina is left alone feeling completely disoriented and unhinged. Together, she and the other 12 refugees must decide how to re-build their world. Will they be able to erect the life they had before? Or will they have to begin living a whole new way of life?

In the depths of this zombie apocalypse 17 year old Ryan has survived through it all where his family hasn't been as lucky. Scavenging all he can find, his world revolves around one basic, cruel fact - that any day could be his last. But then the impossible happens. Suddenly his world changes and all around him feelings and people he never knew existed slice through his heart like an icy razor. He sees things that he only ever heard in fairy tales or even the world before, things that he thought were impossible. Can he stay alive long enough to save his friends from the insanity of Boss?
