How would it feel to be sixteen and only have experienced love once? Well, that's Maya's life. She was in love with a boy so many years ago, it almost seems like a dream. In kindergarten, she was in love with a boy, and he loved her. Then they went to different schools, and they never saw each other again. Now, all she can remember is a few memories, and a name: Jett. But continually, she keeps thinking, does he remember me? Then one day, Maya's family moves to a new town. She doesn't know anyone. But there's this strange boy who lives down the road that she keeps thinking about. Could he be Jett? Or was Maya's pre-school love fake? Or is Maya just going crazy?

When Braeden loses her entire family to a terrible accident, she gets put into the foster-care system. Her foster family turns out to be the bad boys from her school. She knows that it's going to be hard to get used to, but she's going to make it work. When you lose anyone, it's awful. When you lose anyone in your family, it's worse. But when your whole family dies from a terrible car crash and YOU'RE the only one that survives. That's even worse. I lost my family four months ago and now I'm jumping around foster homes. I used to be the schools goody goody, but I've turned into the school's bad girl. I get placed into the foster home of the biggest bad boys in our school. What happens when you fall in love with your foster brother? I would know, because I fell in love with one of mine.
