Torn Between Miracle [Wattys2015]

Zephyr Black, the vampire king lost his mate due to a war two hundred years ago. He witnessed the dead of his mate when the explosion happened. He was mateless. He was heart broken and hopeless. Once a mate died, they will never have another. Once day, he was captured by the scent of sweet and delicious blood in the forest. He soon lost the smell as he passed through a river. The smell just disappear into the thin air. No one was around. No blood on the ground. But he was sure that scent was very familiar.

Faith and Hope White, the half angel-witch was escaping to a new town but unfortunately were attacked by the vampires. Faith was injured badly as she was trying to protect Hope. The smell of her blood was spreading around the forest. Hope was not able to use her magic since they were occupied with holding Faith. After crossing the river, they managed to hide in the bushed and Hope muttered a spell, keeping their scent including the scent of Faith's blood. The vampire were craving for their blood, their sweet and addicted blood which will boost their ability, being powerful.
