The idyllic country side town of Spalding has a secret and he's about to make his appearance. Murder has gripped the community and terrified the locals, but there are no suspects and no one knows who the killer could be. The body count continues to rise and Detective Harriet King throws herself into the investigation. After her partner dies in a horrific accident, Harriet begins to wonder if there is anything that can be done to stop the murderer or whether he will just remain anonymous...
