A young man who has been known as The Wanderer, travels through the lands and comes to the little land of Hyrule. When he bumps into a simple looking blonde girl who ends up being the depressed Princess of Hyrule, The Wanderer promises to take her away and bring her along in his travels. What the young travelers didn't know what that trouble followed the two and now they are involved in their own affairs that don't look too well. 
This is The Legend of Zelda: The Wanderer.

While Link and Zelda try to save themselves from the abuse, an evil prince from another country declares war on Hyrule in hopes of annexing the kingdom, and Link must go to war, leaving Zelda.
