Set against he current Islamist revolt n North eastern Nigeria, the novel traces a young woman's attempt to get revenge for the murder of her family by acting as a one woman execution squad of the rebel soldiers. Aided by an American ex special forces soldier, she fights against the occupation of her town and leads a growing resistance movement which undermines the occupation. Eventually, as the Nigerian army launches an assault on the rebels, she and her companions begin a hunt for the rebel leader with the intention of killing him. The story follows Blessing's journey towards her moment of confrontation with her family's killer.All Rights Reserved
