My Skype Love

This is a real story about my life, but names and locations have been changed. Much of the dialogue is real conversations taken straight from Skype.

“Please add me as a contact,” I took a chance and pressed send. Little did I know what this simple click of my touchpad would unfurl.

“If I was boring, you could have said so :P!”
“Rude,” I typed before he had a chance to reply. I know we had just met, but I was a bit miffed that he’d left the conversation without even saying goodbye.

“Not at all dear :D,” he replied. No one said dear anymore, which is what made him sound even more charming.

The conversation flowed so effortlessly.

I had never met someone who I could talk to so easily without any walls up. He made me laugh and smile even hours after we’d stopped talking.

There was just one problem. The girl (a mutual friend of ours) who had introduced me to him was absolutely in love with him. And now, I could see why.
