This is a real story about my life, but names and locations have been changed. Much of the dialogue is real conversations taken straight from Skype.
“Please add me as a contact,” I took a chance and pressed send. Little did I know what this simple click of my touchpad would unfurl.
“If I was boring, you could have said so :P!”
“Rude,” I typed before he had a chance to reply. I know we had just met, but I was a bit miffed that he’d left the conversation without even saying goodbye.
“Not at all dear :D,” he replied. No one said dear anymore, which is what made him sound even more charming.
The conversation flowed so effortlessly.
