"Steven... Steven, please... Please just let m-" said a raspy voice infused with an unmistakable terror. Riddled with sleep but overtaken with curiosity, I slowly raised my head from the plush pillow and placed my tiny feet on the clammy tile floor. I stealthily padded over to the weathered wooden door, the distressed sobs growing louder with each step. " Please...Please just let me go... Stev-" said the hoarse voice again. I wrapped my shaking hand around the chipped silver doorknob and opened the door just enough for one of my big brown eyes to peek through. " Steven... Stev-" My eyes briefly searched the room before landing on an image that would be seared into my mind forever.

"YOU FUCKING BITCH!" I heard a loud thud as something dropped on the floor. "Guys! Come here!" I hesitated a while but I gathered my courage and went out of my hiding spot and slowly walked to her as I turned on my flashlight. Once I got closer, I stood there speechless. What I saw, was not what I expected. "Did you- Did you knocked him off?" I asked her in disbelief. The figure lay on the floor unconscious. "How- How did. Wait, What did you do?" I asked her again. × HAPPY READING!
