So this is my interpretation of the story "The Landlady" by Roald Dahl, whom I think is an amazing author.
If you've read the short story, you'll know it ends pretty low key with no answer to what happens to Billy Weaver or the landlady, or what happened to Mr Mulholland or Mr Temple but in my version, I explore it a little bit more and have given it the ending I imagined. Call it what you will.
I kind of am just publishing it on Wattpad because it's for homework and I want it somewhere other than my computer because lord knows that things going to crash any day now.

What happens when you take the city girl and move her to the country? That's currently the situation that Elizabeth or Liz for short is facing. Her dad just died and her mom was seriously in a mid-life crisis which consisted of her mother thinking it would be a good idea to move back to her small hometown in the middle of hillbilly central to live in the house her grandma had left them in her will when she passed. Her dad said didn't want anything to do with her as she was defending her mother and June never knew her parents as she grew up in group homes. April is now a 25-year-old private eye and teaches self-defence classes in honour of her mother. On her off days, she works at a gentleman's club called "The Claw" where she meets Derek Hill and their life is forever changed. Dark Mercies
!!!!THIS IS AN INCOMPLETE STORY WITH A WORKING TITLE!!!! WARNING: This is a super dark and fucked up book. I cannot stress this enough. This isn't my usual stuff. It contains attempted murder, full murder, torture, heavy possessiveness, violence (heavy on the violence), guns, talks of murder and crimes and crime families. There are mentions of abuse and sexual abuse and animal cruelty. While some of these you won't see, they will be mentioned and the effects of them will be discussed. Please read the above and take is seriously. PREMISE: A Canadian woman, while on a trip to Italy, witnesses a murder completed by a Mafia family. She makes an odd request that is granted. One Italian sunset, one sunrise, and a quick death. However it does not go the way it is supposed to. She survives and to protect the family, her attempted murderer, a very openly psychopath man, marries her to prevent her from being able to talk to the police. The book, when completed will follow how she adapts to this marriage and how they come to an agreement as she works through her trauma from her own childhood being raised by a psychopathic father while being married to an unrepentant killer. And while her husband realizes that his form of control isn't the ONLY way of control and that sometimes, giving up control can be a good thing and sometimes being unable to feel most emotions doesn't mean that they still can't be there in some form.

Arthur and the knight of the round tables made it past the bridge of death, and they were off to the castle of auugh. But what if something else happened? Like if they were pulled into a portal. Well, now Arthur and his knights are in modern times without a clue. But who know who else is in this never strange land? I own none of the characters in this story except for the main villain. Every single one of the other characters are property of Monty Python. This takes place in the modern times of the same universe as the original film. As for the events at the beginning, I altered a few things to have this story be possible.Complete
