Impala Winchester has grown up in a broken and stressful home. She has learned that she can only trust a few people, her brothers Dean and Sam, her uncle Bobby, her brothers boyfriend Cas, her best friend Tardis, and a few other close family members; she has always been taught that to survive in this world she must harden her heart and never let people rule her emotions, because as she has learned from experience people will only hurt or abandon you.
But what happens when someone walks into her life that she can't help but to trust, maybe even love? And what will she do when her past, that she has worked so hard to forget, sneaks back up on her? Will she be able to pull herself out of the darkness and allow herself to love, or will she drown and give up, like she almost did all though's years ago?
