Liliya is a foster kid, as normal as you get in that life. When she is accepted to Chiron's School for the Gifted  somewhere in Nowhere, Washington she finds not everything is normal. Stories that are said to be made-up are almost fully true, she meets friends with powers and with "fictional" people for parents. But where does she fit in? What is her gift? She wouldn't be here if there wasn't something different about her.

It's the only way to survive this harsh new world she finds herself in. Being tough and ruthless catches the attention of one particular builder. He's not one for emotions either, especially in a place like the Glade. He knows something is off, and he does his absolute best to keep order around him and in him, when everything's falls apart. Are these two destined to be together? Or are they too similar in personalities? Are they too broken from their own traumas to work it out? Maybe she likes him. Kind of. Maybe he might like her. She probably hates him. He can't stand her. They don't want the other to know. But maybe they do...a little. Who has time for romance and feelings in a place like The Maze. Life. Romance. Ryann was one the 10th person to come up in the box, and she quickly realised that there was one thing that made her different from the other kids there; she was the only girl. Every month when the box came up she would be the first one there, but she was always hit with disappointment. She wished and hoped that they would send up another girl, but they never did. Ryann discovered most of the boys there were both stronger and taller, and they didn't hesitate to tease her for it. She had to work twice as hard as the others to be respected, but she knew that it was worth it when she finally got what she worked so hard for; a place amongst the runners. Ryann Isaacs is my original character and like most female main characters, shes a badass. She can be described as sarcastic, funny, and loving, but she's not afraid to stand up for herself or speak up when she doesn't agree. She is hella good at arguing and is not one to let other people walk all over her. This is my first fan fiction/ wattpad book ever so i'm pretty new to writing. I never thought i would make my own fan fiction, but i just have so many ideas in my head all the time and finally i couldn't resist. I would like to let you all know that my first language IS NOT ENGLISH so please (!!) do not get mad at me if my grammar or spelling is incorrect. And if you notice something about my writing that is wrong and is being repeated, please feel free to comment and let me know. I'm also only 15 and I take most things to heart. Of course I can take negative criticism, but i do not accept any hate or disrespect in my comments (unless you wanna go off on my characters or if i kill someone off because then you're free to comment whatever you want, to a limit of course).
