My best friend died two weeks before school started up again. She wasn't just my best friend though, she was my sister, my human diary, my advisor, my light, my world, my everything. She gave me the most amazing 16 years and the memories I'll cherish for a life time. Her name is Santana, and she was the most beautiful, caring, sweetest girl I'll ever meet. And I got the pleasure of calling her my best friend. Trust me this story will be sad, but I don't want to focus on the death of Santana, but rather the life she had and the amazing last summer we spent together.

After the death of her best friend and the torment from one of the popular girls at school, Angela Taylor decides she's had enough and decides to commit suicide. Her neighbor, Adrian, just happened to be the one who saved her. But she's not supposed to know that. Adrian is the school's "bad boy." He drives a motorcycle, he smokes, and he seems not to care about anything. All the girls want him. But when Angela and Adrian are put together for a history project, Angela is surprised by how kind Adrian acts. Will the two be able to break down the social barriers of what's expected? And, more importantly, will Angela be able to open up to him completely? All of these questions are details Angela must include in her therapy sessions. She is forced to detail every moment of her life from the last few months, up until the moment her life changed forever. Can she do it? New chapters every day!
