Skye had wanted to be a Pokémon trainer for as long as she can remember. Her room is covered in posters of famous gym leaders and contest stars, and she has Poké dolls of her dream team. Her parents would read her the legends of Pokémon from trainers past, and her grandmother even taught her how to play the Poké Flute.
For her 10th birthday, Skye's parents gave her the present of a lifetime: enrollment at the Pokémon Academy. Located on a secret island, the Academy is the best place for aspiring young trainers to grow, meet friends, and acquire the knowledge that they will need to become Champions.

It's almost complete, though I had to take a break due to the Fall 2022 semester starting up. 2015: Crystal has gone through the four regions of Kanto, Sinnoh, Johto, and Unova, collecting Pokémon, defeating rivals, and gaining badges, like any other Pokémon trainer. Right after she gained her eighth Gym badge in Unova, she had an urge to visit her home region of Kanto and her friends who live there. After visiting with her family and friends in Pallet Town, she headed to Cerulean Cape to visit Bill, who started up Crystal's PC Pokémon storage system. Bill was in the middle of an experiment and Crystal offers to help, which brings her the ability of a Ditto: the ability to change into any Pokémon. That is, with practice.
