Parties are for Losers (#Wattys2015)

Hiya! I am Vanessa Scott, 17 years old physically, 46 mentally. My friends and I live in Henderson, Nevada, which is right outside of Vegas. Okay, so we are writing this book to tell you about us and our trials, oh my God, let me not start off lying to you all. To be honest, I'm not sure why we wrote this book.

We might have been bored, or something vapid like that. We are the outcasts of high school. No, we're not like the nerds that get messed with all the time, well poor Alex is. Addie, Sara, and I not so much. Mostly because Addison has slept with every guy.

She doesn't think that our title applies to her. Addison is rich and mostly "popular" so it's not like her party experiences have been like ours. Sara is my younger step sister, so she wants to feel the way I do. I truly think being around people makes Sara uncomfortable.

And then there's Alex. Sweet ole' Alex! He thinks the world is out to get him, like people around him are always plotting ways to kill him or something. He's a little paranoid if you ask me. You would think he's on drugs, but he's too scared for that!

Now, you have two options:
1. Throw this book in the garbage, because you have made a terrible mistake even reading this synopsis, you're brain will be nothing but melted goo by the end of this book. You'll wish you would've burned your hands for even touching it and stab your eyes out because you read the gawl darn thing!

2. Pick up the book, go ahead, we don't bite. Start on page one and if I bore the living hell out of you, then refer to option one, it's okay you weren't invested in the characters and what we do. You can still poke your eye's out if you wanna.
