One of four short stories about the crew of the Shepherd in different phases of life.  These are based on a SciFi story that I have been thinking about for a while, bear with the slow pace for uploads please.

What if everyone was wrong? What if after twenty thousand years of human evolution, we had no further to go?  Climax at 2020.  What if we were all alone? No life in the universe anywhere else.  How long would it take for the human race to colonize the universe?  My guess is another twenty thousand years, and still no lasers, no warp drives, no speed of light, no cryogenic freeze, only human perseverance and ingenuity, just like the wild west.

The story of the ship "The Shepherd" (A for hire escort destroyer) takes place in this time.  It is 202020. This is about the crew of that ship and the one job that changed the fate of human-kind.All Rights Reserved

The Flight To Death by dr4106

A plane which went missing twenty six years back has suddenly come back from nowhere. Read on to find out where it was, and what happened to the passengers in the plane. The plot focuses on a family of four who were in the plane, and the chilling experiences they have after the plane went missing, their struggles for survival in a place they don't know and lots more. Readers are the motivation for writers to give bigger and better content. I humbly request everyone who read this story to kindly share your views on the story, so that I can make the upcoming parts better. I'm sure many of you would love this, because I've put a lot of hard work into thinking various sequences in this story. Also, I'm new to writing, so suggestions about grammar are most welcome. Friends and family turn on one another, losing control of their own minds and bodies. The Unaltered aren't safe. Even if the virus isn't attacking them, the ones with the virus are. A lot of true facts are embedded in this story which has both true and fictional characters. Who is to be believed is for you to decide. The chapters are many but many are short. Still, it is a full-sized novel with promise for future adventures. Plot: An international crew of scientists board a large state-of -the art oceanographic vessel privately funded by an anonymous source. The itinerary is to travel down the west coast of the Americas and travel the South Pacific to Antarctica. The team plans to visit many known sites of hydrothermal vents using a device called the MAPR, searching vents for a bacterium that seems promising in use as a way to fight carbon dioxide emissions.
