Bekka McCullough was to die for. She was beautiful. She was popular. She was a cheerleader. She was dating the quarter-back. She loved life, and life loved her back. At least she thought it did, until she became a vampire. Completely lost and heartbroken, she broke up with her boyfriend and thought all hope was lost. She had to talk to them- the group like her. There was nothing scary, evil, or menacing about them, but she was scared to death. When she did, however, she quickly became friends with all of them- well, almost all of them. She begins to fall for one of them, and she tries to fight her feelings, she tries to ignore how he looks at her. On top of that, her ex is causing trouble, one of her besties is acting weird, and there's a dangerous being soon to be added to the equation. Bekka doesn't know if she can handle all of it... and she doesn't know if she can fight her feelings. Some days she feels like herself, the normal, human Bekka. And some days she feels like a monster.... How will Bekka handle all the trauma of becoming a vampire? No one knows, especially not her herself.
