Laura was on the way home from a date when everything changes. She is approached by a little girl, claiming to be a powerful deity about to die. Laura is chosen by random to be a reaper, which creates a new side to her. She now has to deal with demons, deities, and suspicious fellow reapers. She is losing herself and has to go up against every paranormal thing in her city.

Every supernatural creature knows to stay out of their way, because you don't mess with death. Or, at least they used to. Cammie isn't anything other than an ordinary girl who makes a mistake at a party. But her death leads to her meeting one of the reapers upset with the current state of affairs, and her life instantly gets more dangerous. While she's trailing behind this eccentric girl who claims to own her soul, she meets the very vampire that killed her- and he's not the only one who's taken an interest in her. The supernatural world is gearing up for war, and Cammie is one of the only ones with the chance to choose what side she wants to be on. Or, so she thinks.Complete

This story is about a 16 year old girl named Melody Swift. Ever since her mother died, her so-called "father" started abusing her. Kids at school are cruel, they bully her brutally just because she's different. She simply waits for everything to get better, after all what's the point in trying when the world will do whatever they can to drag you down. Her only escape from this twisted reality is a creature named Shadow. A terrifying creature that is somehow more humane than the so-called humans around her. Shadow could easily take all her problems away, but Melody refuses to take the easy way out. That is, until she just couldn't take it anymore, she takes Shadow's offer and soon her life got better. Her bullies started disappearing, showing up dead in the woods. Their bodies badly mutilated, almost unrecognizable. Life at school started getting better, she finally had human friends and even a boyfriend. Her "father" was found dead at her house. The torture had finally ended. Unfortunately this story doesn't have a happy ending, after all karma always strikes back.Complete
